Peer Mentoring
Meeting and helping someone who has been there can be one of the most powerful ways to support people who use substances.
Peer mentors share their stories and offer support to people who are starting their recovery journey.
If you’ve been there and want to offer friendship, support and encouragement rsun can give you resources and training information to empower you to become a Peer mentor.
You will develop new skills, get involved in helping people, and also build up your own network and resilience.
DACTs
DACTs are Drug and Alcohol Coordination Teams.
In 2015, PHA brought together the five local DACTs to form a Regional Steering Group to work collectively to address drug and alcohol misuse by developing events, initiatives and resources.
